Preparing for your visit
Thank you for being a part of our oil family! We couldn't be where we are without your support. Whether you are traveling from near or far, we want you to have the best experience possible. Here are a few things we want you to know so you can prepare.
- We are a small, family owned business! The owner and founder of the business is Tanya, The Oil Lady. We are real live people, who live and work and have a family. We have feelings too! Please remember that we are people and we are sensitive about our stuff.
- Pack your patience. Every day is busy to a varying degree, and we do our best to provide the same level of service to each and every customer, including giving everyone as much time and attention as needed. We will spend lots of time with you, however during busy periods, we have to be mindful of the wait and may encourage you to wrap up your purchase if as significant amount of time has passed.
- While we strive to have a great knowledge of our fragrances collection, we do not claim to know about everything. To be most prepared for your visit, it is best if you view our fragrance list and know what you would like to smell, or at least have an idea of the types of fragrances you like and an open mind! We will pull any fragrances you want to smell -- a limit of 10-12 fragrances as a courtesy, please. You can try on any fragrances that you would like, just ask. Please refrain from pouring the oil in/on your hands or elsewhere. Ask for a q-tip if you would like to smell.
- Remember: Oils are dupes. We pride ourselves on providing the best and longest lasting body oils, but please keep in mind that body oils are dupes of original fragrances and are not always a 100% match. Further, it is also helpful to allow oils to dry down and mix with your body's chemistry. We ask that you keep this in mind as you shop.
- As much as possible, please limit your order to a reasonable amount of bottles. if you are looking to purchase more than 20-25 or more bottles in person, please reach out prior to your visit so we have a heads up and can prepare or prep your order if possible.
